Warren's Bio

Warren accepted Jesus into his heart in June of 1965 at the age of 13. The same night he was filled with the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in other tongues and shortly thereafter he was baptized at his home church in St. Joseph, MO. At the age of 16 he received the call to enter the ministry and at the age of 17 began ministering at his home church.

After high school he attended the Gateway College of Evangelism in St. Louis, MO and returned to serve as youth pastor in his hometown of St. Joseph, Missouri. There he met and married his wife Alice and together the two of them moved to Atchison, KS to help another minister begin a new work there. After two years in Kansas they returned and served again as youth ministers in their home church in St. Joseph, MO. Once again they decided to help another minister start a new work, this time on the northern side of the city, (Victory Tabernacle - Rev. Arlance Clark). They served 5 years with him as associate pastors.

In 1980 he accepted the pastorate of a small country church in rural mid Missouri called "Ozark Tabernacle". The church grew and relocated to the nearby town of Lincoln, where it became (at that time) one of the area's largest churches. Warren's first wife was killed in an automobile accident and in 1994 he married Suzanne. After 15 years of pastoring in that area, they (along with their 2 daughters) traveled (for 5 years) as full time traveling evangelists and music ministers, (preaching 50 weeks per year, 5 - 7 services per week, covering as many as 38 states each year).

In August of 1999 they accepted the call to serve as pastors of Panama City Christian Center in Panama City, FL. In December 2010 Panama City Christian Center merged with Bayside Church to form a new church called Bayside Christian Center.  Dr. Drake served as Pastor Emeritus for a year, then resigned to continue ministry in some other areas.

Dr. Drake has served on the executive board and as the vice/president and president of the Anchor Bay Evangelistic Association, a fellowship of Independent/Charismatic ministers. He has traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad. He has received an earned Doctorate of Divinity from School of the Bible Theology Seminary in San Jacinto, CA and was awarded the honor of Kentucky Colonel by the governor of Kentucky.

In June of 2009 he established the Vision Resources Network, a ministry designed to help Churches, Non-Profit Organizations, and those in Christian service use technology and the internet to promote their vision around the world.

Warren is a gifted speaker and talented musician, usually remembered for his quick wit and interesting stories. While he has several "hobbies" that he likes to talk about (see the woodworking & Morgan 35 pages), his true passion is for Christ and the lost. He is currently available for, speaking engagements and as an advisor to pastors.
